A man was carried off the field on a stretcher during a college football game yesterday. Pretty standard stuff—except the guy was an intern for the University of Arkansas' athletics marketing department, not a player, and his injury was caused by ... an exploding T-shirt gun. The loud boom could apparently be heard across the stadium, where the school was playing Louisiana-Lafayette, reports Whole Hog Sports. Witnesses say the intern, whose name has not been released, immediately fell to the ground. He reportedly suffered a leg injury and was taken to hospital. (More strange stuff stories.)
