The New York Police Department is investigating after a Norman Rockwell painting was discovered missing from a Queens storage facility. The 1939 painting had just changed hands; an Alabama man bought it for $1 million during an auction in New York in May. Police say it disappeared last month from Welpak Art Moving and Storage in Ridgewood, Queens. The work, titled "Sport," depicts a fisherman wearing a yellow rain jacket and smoking a pipe.
