(Newser) – Two Oscar moments that will probably be talked about tomorrow: Ellen DeGeneres ordered pizza for the audience, and took what could very well be the most epic selfie of all time.

  • She took a poll of the audience, asking who else was starving and would be up for some pizza. Kerry Washington was first to raise her hand—and when the pizza eventually came, Ellen noted, "Kerry Washington is pregnant. She needs some." She then called on Harvey Weinstein to tip the delivery guy: "No pressure, just one billion people watching. Do whatever you feel is right." (And yes, it was a real delivery guy, not an actor, ABC News reports.) Later, she passed around Pharrell Williams' hat and collected quite a bit of cash from the audience to pay for it.
  • As for that selfie, see it here. DeGeneres managed to cram at least 11 other stars into the picture. Her goal was to set a retweet record and it appears she did—the record was somewhere around 500,000, according to Mediaite, and Ellen's selfie has already hit more than a million. "We broke Twitter," DeGeneres announced when she took the stage later.
