Coach John Calipari earned his 400th victory last night, as his No.1 Tigers easily defeated Tulane, 97-71. The victory continues an intimidating Memphis regular season winning streak dating back to March 2006, including 35 straight conference victories, the AP reports. Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 29 to lead the Tigers' attack. The loss marked the fifth in a row for Tulane. In other NCAA action:

  • The Auburn Tigers didn't fare as well as their Memphis counterparts, suffering an 89-70 thrashing at the hands of second-ranked Tennessee. The Vols' victory sets up a showdown with Memphis on Saturday.
  • A.J. Graves hit a three with under a minute left to seal No.8 Butler's victory over UIC in the Horizon League, 51-46, putting them one win from the regular season title and the top seed in the conference tourney.
