(Daniel Mears/Detroit News via AP) Jeralean Talley managed to reign as the world's oldest person for a little more than two months. But the 116-year-old Michigan woman died yesterday at home, "just where she wanted to be," her daughter tells AP. Talley's death means that Susannah Jones of Brooklyn now gets the oldest-person honor in the eyes of the Gerontology Research Group. Jones turns 116 next month.
