Cops Follow Fluid Leak, Arrest Shooting Suspect
Sostenes Quinones.   (Las Cruces Police Dept.)

New Mexico police investigating a shootout outside a pub arrested a man after following fluid that leaked from a vehicle. Police said a man escorted out of the Dublin's pub in Las Cruces early Friday morning got a gun from his car and shot at security officers and that one fired back, KFOX-TV reports. No injuries were reported, but 10-15 rounds were discharged and at least one round fired by a security officer hit the man's car. The man drove off, and police said investigators followed a trail of unspecified liquid left by the car to a home where they arrested 22-year-old Sostenes Quinones. He was jailed on suspicion of two counts of assault with intent to commit a violent felony. (Read more New Mexico stories.)
