Fox News has fired a contributor for making some deeply unpleasant remarks about Christine Blasey Ford and other women during Thursday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. In one tweet, Kevin Jackson described Ford and two other women who accuse Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct as "lying skanks," Variety reports. In another, now-deleted tweet, he said Ford was suffering "academic problems" caused by "PROMISCUITY." "Dang girl, stop opening your legs and OPEN A BOOK!" he said of Ford, who has several degrees and is a professor of psychology at Palo Alto University.

Jackson, who has been a Fox contributor for years and is also a host on KJRadio, went on to accuse Democrats of declaring a "WAR ON MEN" and claim that leftist women "are skanky for the most part." Fox announced his firing late Thursday, NBC reports. "Kevin Jackson has been terminated as a contributor," the network said in a statement. "His comments on today's hearings were reprehensible and do not reflect the values of Fox News." (Last year, Jackson suggested that the FBI was plotting to kill President Trump.)
