(Newser) – President Trump is flying to Florida on Monday, and one of his fellow passengers aboard Air Force One drew the attention of reporters: Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. That's the same Rod Rosenstein who was rumored to be on the brink of dismissal just two weeks ago after a report alleging that he talked about secretly taping the president. So does Trump plan to fire him? "No I don't, no," the president told reporters before the flight, per Reuters. "I didn't know Rod before, but I've gotten to know him, and I get along very well with him."

Rosenstein, of course, is the Justice Department official in charge of the Robert Mueller investigation, and the Hill notes that Trump made reference to that. "I actually have a good relationship," he said of Rosenstein, "other than there's been no collusion, folks, no collusion." And the meeting aboard the plane didn't sound too menacing: "I look forward to being with him, that'll be very nice," Trump said. "We're going to be talking. We'll be talking on the plane."
