It's bad enough to think of fast-food workers not washing their hands before handling food, so the latest story out of a Florida Wendy's is giving plenty of customers angst. CBS Miami reports on a viral video that was apparently shot on Snapchat and started circulating on Facebook Tuesday, showing a worker at the chain's Milton location climbing into a kitchen sink with only shorts on to take a sudsy bath, egged on by others around him. "How's it feel?" one spectator asks in the video, to which the bather replies, "It's warm," before being instructed by someone to "wash your armpits." Other employees in uniform can be seen recording the incident on their own phones.

A spokesman for Carlisle, the company that owns that particular franchise, calls the incident "totally unacceptable." "This was a prank by a person who no longer works at this restaurant, and who clearly did not use good judgment," the rep says, per WEAR. "We are taking this opportunity to reinforce our very strict quality procedures with our restaurant team." It's not clear if the worker was fired or left of his own accord. Per the Northwest Florida Daily News, state inspectors were notified about the video and headed over to the restaurant to give it a once-over; the store passed inspection. Meanwhile, Haley Leach, who first posted the video on her private Facebook page, tells the paper she thought this incident should be publicized. "The actions in the video were appalling, and I felt like the public had the right to know," she says, adding she knew one of the people in the video from high school. (More strange stuff stories.)
