A subreddit dedicated to his awesomeness is not enough for fans of Keanu Reeves, who've launched a petition demanding the actor be named Time's Person of the Year. Time is at least listening. "There's no doubt that Reeves is the Internet's man of the moment," according to the outlet. Though his career has spanned more than three decades, the 54-year-old is getting a boost this year thanks to an impressive turn in John Wick: Chapter 3, a hilarious cameo in Netflix's Always Be My Maybe, and an amusing role as a stuntman action figure in Toy Story 4. Social media users have also pointed out photos of Reeves posing with women but never actually touching them, while others describe his kind acts to strangers, like the time he secured an airport shuttle for stranded passengers.

"The most wholesome person alive" has also "secretly donated millions of his earnings to children's hospitals and other charities," according to the petition signed by about 56,500 people as of this writing. "He's humble, down-to-earth, generous, kind, respectful and hardworking. He's been through terrible things, he deserves this," one signatory writes, per the Los Angeles Times, which notes Reeves suffered the birth of a stillborn daughter in 1999, shortly before his girlfriend died in an accident. His humility only adds to the charm. Asked about the internet's obsession with him, he tells ET Canada, "It's been really nice and special for me. I've had the chance to be working with really cool people and be a part of really cool projects." (Too bad he's married ... maybe.)
