Bella Thorne previously came out as bisexual, but in an interview with Good Morning America this week, the actress revealed, "I'm actually a pansexual, and I didn't know that." As she defined it, being pansexual means "you like what you like. Doesn't have to be a girl, or a guy, or ... you know, a he, a she, a they, or this, or that. It's literally, you like personality, like you just like a being. Doesn't really matter what's going on, over there. If I just like it, I like it!" Thorne, who shot to stardom on the Disney Channel's Shake It Up when she was 13, is now 21 and out with a new book, released today, that discusses her struggles with sexual abuse, bullying, and dyslexia.
Thorne, who has more than 20 million followers on Instagram, tells GMA, "I literally refer to Bella Thorne as this persona who's like this redhead like, 'Ooh, I'm Bella Thorne, I'm crazy, and ah, I'm a wild child,' and whatever." But the "real" her, the actress says, "she's the girl in that book." As People reports, Thorne is currently in a relationship with Italian musician Benjamin Mascolo; she had previously been in a relationship with musician Mod Sun and and influencer Tana Mongeau. "I don't think anybody will really understand the bonds that I share with Mod or Tana," she said in February. "Yeah, we joke around about poly, but we aren't in the sense that we don't put a word, a box or label too many things. It is what it is." (Here's what Thorne did when a hacker stole her nude photos.)
