A Madonna fan is suing the notoriously unpunctual singer for pushing back the start time of a concert by two hours. Nate Hollander says that when he bought tickets for the Material Girl's Dec. 17 concert in Miami Beach, it was scheduled for 8:30pm. But two weeks ago, the singer and Live Nation changed the time to 10:30pm and did not offer refunds, the lawsuit says. Hollander, who paid $1,024.95 for three tickets, is suing the singer and the promoter over the "extreme loss of value" the time change has caused, CNN reports. His breach of contract lawsuit states that he no longer wishes to attend a concert starting so late and the time change has made it impossible to resell the tickets for face value.
Miami-Dade County has an 11pm curfew for teens under 18 who are not accompanied by an adult, so some teens who had planned to attend the concert now can't go, BuzzFeed reports. And there's no guarantee the singer will take the stage at 10:30pm. Madonna angered fans in Las Vegas by not showing up until after midnight at a Thursday concert scheduled for 10:30, reports KSNV. "We walked out of the concert!! The guy next to me was snoring louder than her songs and a lot of people were chanting for a ticket refund It was a disaster," tweeted one fan, or possibly ex-fan, "There's something you need to understand," Madonna told the crowd. "And that is, a queen is never late." (Read more Madonna stories.)
