Cheaters, beware: Even an innocent food critic can end up exposing your unfaithful ways—if, that is, any of the following is real. "Well Tom your latest review is accompanied by a picture of my husband dining with a woman who isn't me!" an unidentified commenter posted Wednesday in a live chat with Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema, People reports. "Once confronted with photographic evidence, he confessed to having an ongoing affair," the person added. "Just thought you'd be amused to hear of your part in the drama. This Thanksgiving I'm grateful to you for exposing a cheat!"

Sietsema appeared to half-believe it, and—also interesting—hoped it wasn't true. "Please, please, please tell me this is a crank post," he wrote. "I'd hate to learn otherwise. I file two reviews a week, for Food and the Magazine, so I'm not sure which restaurant this is." He also tweeted about the exchange, writing, "Cheaters, take heed!" No media sources have yet confirmed the infidelity, but would-be sleuths can scour a couple of Sietsema's recent reviews here and here. "Could this be fake?" asks Mashable. "Absolutely." Sietsema tells the Daily News he's "delicately" trying to solve it and has spotted a person of interest. "Stranger things have happened!" he says. (More infidelity stories.)
