Looks like President Trump flicked on the TV, put his feet up, and—"Pathetic!" he tweeted Sunday after seeing Rep. Eric Swalwell and other Democrats appear on Fox News, per USA Today. "Don't get why @FoxNews puts losers on like @RepSwalwell (who got ZERO as presidential candidate before quitting), Pramila Jayapal, David Cicilline and others who are Radical Left Haters? The Dems wouldn’t let @FoxNews get near their bad ratings debates, yet Fox panders." Rep. Cicilline shot back on Twitter, saying that "while you're busy tweeting insults, we’re busy working to honor our oath of office to protect and defend the constitution and safeguard our democracy." Cicilline also renewed the invitation for Trump to testify about his dealings with Ukraine.

"We have some questions about your abuse of power," Rep. Jayapal added, saying "the only thing radical—and unacceptable—is the President of the United States inviting foreign interference in our elections, the most sacred democratic institution." This isn't Trump's first attack on Fox News in recent months, the Hill notes. In November, he blasted host Shannon Bream for having on Swalwell and also called host Chris Wallace "nasty" and "obnoxious" after he queried House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., about Trump's affairs in Ukraine. Fox hosts have mostly kept quiet in response. (One exception was Neil Cavuto.)
