Doctors are attempting to bring Kerstin Fritzl—the girl Josef Fritzl fathered with his own daughter in an Austrian dungeon—out of an induced coma, the Guardian reports. Kerstin, 19, was admitted to hospital April 19 with multiple organ failure, and was sent into a coma to give her time to recover.

Doctors say they will take Kerstin off her medication gradually, and that they can't tell for sure how long it will take for her to wake up. Kerstin's admission led to the discovery of the basement dungeon where Josef Fritzl, 73 and currently in police custody, kept daughter Elisabeth and three of the seven children he fathered with her.
