Joe Biden has suspended his campaign until Wednesday to attend to funeral arrangements for his mother-in-law. Bonny Jean Jacobs, 78, died yesterday after a long illness, reports the Delaware News Journal. Biden had already canceled weekend campaign stops as her condition deteriorated. She died the same day Biden's son, Beau, reported for a tour of duty in Iraq. The funeral is scheduled for tomorrow in Pennsylvania. (More Joe Biden stories.)
