Elizabeth Edwards: My Hubby's Better Than Hillary

Elizabeth Edwards was wearing light blue pajamas when she talked to Salon about her support for gay marriage, standing up to Ann Coulter, and why her husband would be better for women than Hillary Clinton if he were elected president. "She's just not as vocal a women's advocate as I want to see. John is," said Elizabeth, an attorney and mother of four.

Asked why she vocally supports gay marriage while her husband does not, Elizabeth cited differences in their religious backgrounds. She also revealed that she has blogged under different screen names, and that she is uncomfortable with Hillary's hedging on abortion. (More Elizabeth Edwards stories.)
