Democracy activist Aung San Suu Kyi took the stand in her own defense today to deny she broke the terms of her house arrest when she allowed an American trespasser to stay overnight, reports the BBC. Suu Kyi faces a sentence of up to a five years if she's found guilty. She has already spent 13 years in jail or under house arrest.
