JFK could one day join Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt in rock now that a wide-ranging poll by VanityFair/60 Minutes has found he's the president most Americans would most like to see added to Mount Rushmore. Other revelations:

  • Though it's a hot-button topic in the health-care debate, Americans are fairly clueless on what exactly the public option is: only 26% said they could explain it to a fellow citizen, while 66%—split evenly down party lines—admitted they couldn't.

  • Going Rogue might be a bestseller, but Sarah Palin's got nothing on Rush Limbaugh: 26% of respondents said Limbaugh was the most influential conservative in the US, compared with Glenn Beck (11%), Palin (10%) or Dick Cheney (10%).
  • Asked what music they'd least like to be tortured with in a Guantanamo-esque setting, 28% picked Britney Spears over Rage Against the Machine, the Bee Gees, Nine Inch Nails or AC/DC.
