Not that she asked, but Mike Harvkey has some advice for Sarah Jessica Parker: Stop listening to your agent, and start paying attention to Jennifer Aniston. Since her groundbreaking HBO show went off the air, Parker has made decisions so catastrophic they make him "wonder if Parker reads the scripts that cross her desk." Of the second Sex and the City movie, he warns, "SATC 2: Electric Boogaloo will be striking soon, another nail in the shiny pink coffin."

It's time to get real. "What Parker doesn’t seem to understand is what she’s not: A romantic lead. A serious (i.e. Oscar) actress," Harvkey writes for True/Slant. "It’s hard for big-money commodities, with all their handlers and hangers-on, to take a $1 million paycheck over a $10 million paycheck, but that’s exactly what Parker should be doing," he advises. "Even though Jennifer Aniston’s post-Friends career has been rocky at best, Parker should study it, because about half the time Aniston makes a fairly good choice"—and that ratio soundly beats Parker's record.
