Guests at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference intend to beat Nancy Pelosi—or a reasonable likeness thereof—until candy falls out. At a conservative-themed after-party Friday night, guests, starting with a trio of “well-known DC residents,” will be given a chance to whack a Pelosi Pinata, The Hill reports. “We’re hoping to have the females whack the piñata,” says one organizer, “and the males try their hand at a Harry Reid punching bag.”

The piñata will be stuffed with bills, favorite Pelosi sayings, and of course, candy. The chairman of the CivicForumPAC, the group throwing the party, calls it a “Budget” piñata, representing the bloated federal budget. “It is the policies of big government that we are trying to whack or punch, not Speaker Pelosi and Sen. Reid,” he said. The party isn’t officially sponsored by CPAC. (More Nancy Pelosi stories.)
