Bernie isn't even mad! At all!

As Bernie Goldberg’s nightly war with Jon Stewart continues, let him make one thing clear: “I’m not looking to continue any war with Jon Stewart,” he insisted last night on the O’Reilly Factor…while discussing his war with Jon Stewart. Goldberg doesn’t even have a problem with Stewart’s latest “Go F yourself,” delivered with the backing of a gospel choir: “I’m flattered, as a matter of fact, that he spent half his show talking about me,” he said. “Clearly, I got to him.”

While Goldberg considers Stewart’s behavior “civil,” what he does have a problem with is the people who posted “vile, vulgar, hateful stuff” all over his website after watching the Daily Show. “I don’t believe that your most loyal viewers” would do the same thing, Goldberg said to O’Reilly. The host’s slightly more realistic response: “There are probably a few.” Goldberg used many of the same lines earlier in the day on America Live, but seemed a little less carefree about Stewart, telling him to "man the hell up."
