CNN's Rick Sanchez Calls Jon Stewart a 'Bigot'

Then suggests Jews run all the networks

This one may not die quietly: CNN's Rick Sanchez yesterday called Jon Stewart a "bigot," though he later changed that to "prejudicial" and "uninformed." Then he seemed to suggest that CNN and other networks are run by Jews: "I'm telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart. And to imply that somehow they—the people in this country who are Jewish— are an oppressed minority? Yeah."

Sanchez is frequently a target of Stewart and Stephen Colbert, notes Mediaite (which provides audio of his radio interview in the gallery), and there's no love lost between the camps. It's possible that Sanchez didn't mean to pull out the Jews-run-the-media card and instead was smearing "snooty white liberal elites who don't understand minorities," writes Greg Sargent at his Plum Line blog. In any event, he's taking a beating from critics. More at AOL News.
