Tenth-ranked Duke hardly registered the Princeton Tigers' presence on the court last night, cruising to a 20-point lead in the first few minutes and blazing to 12-0 and 19-0 scoring runs in an 83-61 victory. Duke's 10th straight victory in the Maui invitational brings the Blue Devils to a semifinal game against equally hot Illinois tonight, reports the AP.

  • The Illini started with 20-0 scoring binge and ended with a 77-54 victory over Arizona State, with Brian Randle and Rodney Alexander each contributing 17 points.
  • With a razor-thin 86-83 edge over Missouri ensured by Drew Neitzel's last-second free throws, No. 11 Michigan State won the right to face No. 2 UCLA tonight in the CBE Classic finals.
