Michele Bachmann is such an icon these days, she’s even got a band named after her—though its members aren’t her biggest fans. “The concept is to have a band that captures the spirit of Michele Bachmann by being somewhat ill-prepared, not really up to the challenge ahead of it but going full speed ahead,” a member of the Virginia outfit tells Politico.

The band is hoping Bachmann can stay on the national stage for a while, but not too long. “There’s hoping for success for your band and there’s hoping for success for your country,” says another member. "Being in a rock band is like an allegory for her," he adds. "She’s that pure, voracious id” who’s in it for “the flashing lights,” he adds. The Daily Intel already has an album art suggestion.
