Madonna had a couple pretty compelling reasons not to wave fake guns around onstage at her gig in Scotland Saturday: First of all, local authorities had asked her not to, due to the fact that she took to the stage less than 48 hours after the Dark Knight massacre in Colorado. Further, Madonna herself even joked her concert could be "cut off" due to Scotland's gun laws—which came about after a 1996 massacre. Apparently she thought shock value was more important than good taste and brandished the guns anyway—but she won't face punishment, just a lot of backlash, the Daily Record reports.
