After a slow start and a brief Iowa State lead, 18th-ranked Texas A&M pulled ahead for good to finish the game 69-51. The Aggies' fourth straight win came courtesy of 16 points from Bryan Davis, the Battallion reports. "We're playing with much more toughness and much more poise, home and away," said Aggies coach Mark Turgeon. In other college hoops results:

  • No. 10 Butler trailed for much of its game against Valparaiso, at one point falling behind by 10 points, but a clutch three-pointer from Pete Campbell snagged the Bulldogs a 71-68 victory.
  • No. 15 Drake followed their fellow bulldogs, also going down by double digits before surging back against Illinois State with the help of Leonard Houston's 22 points.
