Casey Kasem's whereabouts are still unknown, and now daughter Kerri Kasem says her father has been kidnapped by his wife, her estranged stepmother Jean Kasem. The two are "in hiding," Kerri Kasem tells the New York Daily News, adding that she would be filing a police report. She believes Jean Kasem took Casey from his Santa Monica nursing home to an Indian reservation in Washington state, or perhaps even into Canada. A judge on Monday appointed Kerri Kasem her father's temporary caretaker, and ordered an investigation into Casey Kasem's whereabouts.

Meanwhile, more details of Casey Kasem's medical condition are coming out: He has not just Parkinson's but Lewy body dementia, which can cause visual hallucinations, the Washington Post reports. Kerri Kasem says she's worried he's not getting adequate medical care, because he can barely speak and requires a feeding tube and 24-hour care. Other family members and friends expressed similar fears to the Hollywood Reporter, and Kasem's first wife calls Jean Kasem a "horrible woman" and says Casey Kasem is "literally afraid of her."
