Theaters including the Plaza in Atlanta and the Texas-based chain of Alamo Drafthouse cinemas will show The Interview after all, they announced on Twitter today. Sony Pictures Entertainment pulled the Seth Rogen- and James Franco-starring movie about a plot to assassinate Kim Jong Un after Sony got hacked and threats were made against theaters that showed the film, but now Sony has authorized screenings of the controversial movie on Christmas Day, Gizmodo reports. According to The Wrap, Sony is also planning to announce a video-on-demand (VOD) release of the film. Mediaite has a complete list of theaters showing the film. (More Sony stories.)
