Resident "Jackass" Steve-O's latest stunt has him facing a litany of charges after the 41-year-old climbed a crane in Hollywood last night in something of a dramatic SeaWorld protest, reports NBC Los Angeles. Teetering at least 100 feet in the air, and live-streaming himself on Facebook, Steve-O inflated an orca balloon emblazoned with "SEAWORLD SUCKS," set off fireworks, shut down the street below, and attracted dozens of first responders who weren't sure if there was a suicide attempt in the works. He was wearing a T-shirt that read "Blackfish," per the LA Times. He climbed down around 9pm.

Steve-O, real name Stephen Glover, now faces charges including setting off explosives without a permit, trespassing, conspiracy to commit a crime, and filming without a permit. "We have other people we need to attend to," says an LAPD rep. "It’s a mess." Protesting SeaWorld appears to be one of Steve-O's favorite causes. Last year, he was fined for tagging the word "SUCKS" onto a SeaWorld highway exit sign in San Diego. That stunt was also documented on YouTube. (Read more Steve-O stories.)
