The Dallas Stars scored three power-play goals en route to a 7-2 rout of the Los Angeles Kings today, reports the Associated Press. Loui Eriksson scored one of the man-advantage goals in the second period, then scored 3 1/2 minutes later as the Stars lit the lamp four times in the second period.

Dallas outshot the Kings 16-3 in that period, and 35-14 for the game. Despite the shot disadvantage, Los Angeles goalie Erik Ersberg didn't have to stop a shot in the first 8 1/2 minutes of the contest, as Kevin Dallman scored on the Kings first shot. After that, however, it was all Dallas, as the Stars took the lead 2-1 16 seconds into the second. (More NHL stories.)
