They're going back to Cleveland. The Chicago Cubs avoided elimination and kept their World Series hopes alive with a 3-2 win Sunday night at Wrigley Field, reports the AP. The Indians still lead the Series 3-2, with Game 6 set for Tuesday night in Cleveland. The Cubs brought in closer Aroldis Chapman with one out in the seventh inning, and he shut down Cleveland the rest of the way to preserve the win.
The Indians' Jose Ramirez opened the scoring in the second when he homered off Jon Lester with two out. Kris Bryant of the Cubs tied the game in the fourth with a solo homer of his own, and Chicago added two more runs that inning to go up 3-1. Cleveland got within a run in the sixth on an RBI single by Francisco Lindor but could not score again. Another highlight for Chicago fans: None other than Eddie Vedder led "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch. (Read more World Series stories.)
