Justin Bieber: I'm 'Struggling,' Need Prayers

Justin Bieber has been keeping a relatively low profile since his marriage to Hailey Baldwin, and a new Instagram post may help explain why. "Been struggling a lot," the 25-year-old writes to fans. "Just feeling super disconnected and weird." He added that "I always bounce back so I’m not worried," but he asked his fans for prayers just the same. Bieber did not provide details, but the post comes after he revealed to Vogue last month that he had been "really depressed" on his 2017 tour, which he ended up cutting short. "I’m still processing so much stuff that I haven’t talked about," he told the magazine. "I was lonely. I needed some time.”

In that interview, Bieber acknowledged that his life had unraveled a few years ago with one tabloid controversy after another. "I found myself doing things that I was so ashamed of, being super-promiscuous and stuff, and I think I used Xanax because I was so ashamed." People reports that Bieber has begun treatment for depression, and it quotes a source calling the new Instagram post a "big step" for him. "He was a little nervous about being public, but he also knows that his road to improvement comes with this level of honesty." (More Justin Bieber stories.)
