If you want to catch a screening of Hellboy at the Roxy 8 movie theater in Dickson, Tenn., you're out of luck. You will, however, be able to watch Heckboy. That's how the theater is billing Neil Marshall's R-rated film, a reboot of the 2004 superhero flick, on its marquee. "To my knowledge, we have never put any words on our sign that may be seen as profanity," the theater manager tells the Tennessean. "This is the way l believe, thus this is [the] way we conduct business."
She adds that the theater is located right next to a church and an elementary school, with "hundreds of children" sauntering past the sign each day. The AP reports the $50 million flick has made $19.8 million in its first two weekends. (Read more strange stuff stories.)
