Three people have been hospitalized in Seattle after what police are calling an "unprovoked and random attack" Tuesday morning, KIRO 7 reports. Police say a male suspect stabbed three men, including a Nordstrom employee, outside the Nordstrom flagship store downtown; a 79-year-old stabbed in the neck and a 77-year-old stabbed in the back were taken to the hospital, while a 55-year-old stabbed in the forearm was treated at the scene. The 79-year-old is in critical condition, while the 77-year-old is in satisfactory condition, KOMO News reports. Suspect Christopher Morisette, 29, allegedly fled the scene but was captured soon after; he had removed his clothes after fleeing and was naked when caught, police say. He has an extensive criminal history and has spent time in a state psychiatric hospital. (More Seattle stories.)
