Bill Cosby celebrated his 82nd birthday from prison with a message to fans that Newsweek calls "bizarre" and BET calls "deeply ironic." "I would like to thank all of my friends, supporters and family members for wishing me a Happy 82nd Birthday," posted Cosby, who was convicted of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand, on Instagram and Twitter. "Many of my fellow residents [SCI Phoenix] asked, 'Mr. Cosby - is there anything special you would like for your birthday?' I politely replied that the greatest present for me is: 1 Corinthians 13:11 — When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. To all men... it’s time to be Great Fathers, Great American Citizens & Great Husbands. Man Up & Become Men Of Valor."

He finished up with a number of hashtags, including #StandUpManUp, #BeAManOfValor, #HappyBirthdayBillCosby, #FreeBillCosby, and #FarFromFinished. He also added the hashtags #LoveMyChildren and #LoveYouCamille, and Camille Cosby apparently posted her own birthday message to her husband on his social media accounts: "Billy... A joyous 82nd birthday to a man who is caring & loving to his children, grandchildren & me, his wife....may vindication be in your near future, so your fearless voice of truths will no longer be suppressed by the disseminators of lies & enemies of justice. Love, Camille." Newsweek notes it's not clear who is tweeting from Cosby's account, as he has not had free access to social media since being locked up. (More Bill Cosby stories.)
