(Newser) – The coronavirus fallout continues. American Airlines and Delta Air Lines say they will stop flying to mainland China, reports CNBC. American's move is effectively immediately through at least March 27, though the airline will continue to fly into Hong Kong. Delta's suspension will begin Feb. 6 and run through April 30. Expect United to follow suit, especially in the wake of the State Department's warning to American travelers to avoid China. The viral outbreak has sickened more than 9,690 people in China, where most of the 213 deaths to date have taken place. The US currently has six patients being monitored, according to the latest world tally from the AP. (Read more coronavirus stories.)
