Paris Hilton dishes to Esquire about what she’s learned from being, well, Paris Hilton. For starters, she wants everyone to know she’s not a brainless celebutard—“I was up making phone calls at seven in the morning, and I’ll be working until 1 a.m.” But she knows what she’s working toward: being “a blond icon.”

It’s not all work and no play, though. “Having a nightclub in your house really helps for having a party, because then you don’t need to go out.” And what a house it is. “I call it my Paris Palace. It’s beautiful. Every room has beautiful crystal chandeliers and amazing moldings from Italy. When people come over they say, ‘Hey, this looks just like you.’” (More heiress stories.)
