Artie Lange Attempted Suicide

Artie Lange’s recent hospital stay came after he stabbed himself nine times in an apparent suicide attempt, the New York Post reports. Law enforcement sources say Lange, whose mother called 911 after bringing him food and finding him bloodied, had six “hesitation wounds” and three deep wounds. A source close to Lange’s management confirms the comic stabbed himself. The comedian wrote in his recent biography that he tried to kill himself once before, that time with a drug overdose.
