The Killers took to their Web site to address rumors that the band is breaking up or that lead singer Brandon Flowers is going solo, explaining that the members are just looking for some time off after years of near-constant recording and touring.

The Killers want “to assure their fans that any concerns about the future of the band are unfounded,” reads a statement on the site. “They are all looking forward to some time off at the end of this tour as they have been on the road for a long time, but there are no plans for an indefinite hiatus.”
