Kate Gosselin made her debut on Dancing With the Stars last night, and if you were hoping she’d score sweet revenge on Jon by wowing the world, don’t hold your breath. Judge Bruno Tonioli called her technique “terrible,” adding, “It looked like Tony was pushing a shopping cart around the floor.” Gosselin and partner Tony Dovolani received the third lowest score of the night at 16. The bottom spot went to 80-year-old astronaut Buzz Aldrin, with 14.

Other buzzed-about performances included Shannen Doherty, who was similarly slammed by Bruno (“You were swinging your arms around like a primate”) and ranked just above Kate with 18; Erin Andrews, who impressed the judges and scored a respectable 21; and Pamela Anderson, who tied Andrews at 21 and inspired Bruno to say, “I can only think of sex, sex, and more sex.” The top spot went to Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, with 25, followed by Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek, who scored a 23.
