Housewife Drank While Preggo

Alex McCord has written a parenting book as only a Real Housewife of New York could: It involves tales of sipping champagne while in labor. “Throughout my pregnancy, I gave into every craving I felt,” writes McCord in Little Kids Big City. “When I wanted to have a drink, I did.” She and hubby Simon van Kempen also discuss parenting decisions like bringing their two-day-old baby to a fancy restaurant while they had drinks.

“We're very lucky that we're able to pay our nanny extra for two evenings a week to go out,” McCord writes, but a source tells the New York Daily News they go out more than that: “They’ll go to practically any event to be seen.”
