Showing considerably better dance moves than he did during his last surprise performance, Tom Cruise stole the show at last night’s MTV Movie Awards. Channeling his popular Tropic Thunder character Les Grossman, Cruise got down and dirty with Jennifer Lopez—the attention-getting antics were second only to Sandra Bullock’s girl-on-girl action. Cruise also opened the awards show.

Not surprisingly, The Twilight Saga: New Moon was the night’s biggest winner, taking home five statues, including one for best movie and pretty much every other top prize, the AP reports. Non-Twilight winners included Harry Potter’s Tom Felton as best villain and Up in the Air’s Anna Kendrick (who also, surprise, surprise, stars in the Twilight series) as breakout star.
