Entertainment | Betty White Meet Your 2010 Entertainer of the Year Like you didn't know who that was in the photo By Evann Gastaldo Posted Dec 20, 2010 10:25 AM CST Copied In this Sept. 22, 2010 file photo, Betty White, a cast member in "You Again," arrives at the premiere of the film in Los Angeles. (AP Photo/Chris Pizzello, file) This year alone, Betty White won a SAG lifetime achievement award, starred in an award-winning Super Bowl ad, won an Emmy for hosting Saturday Night Live, and scored a TV series, a calendar, and a book deal. Is it any wonder the Associated Press voted the 88-year-old Entertainer of the Year? "It's ridiculous," says White of the honor. "They haven't caught on to me, and I hope they never do." "It's been phenomenal, but everybody keeps congratulating me on my resurgence and my big comeback," she says. "I haven't been away, guys. I've been working steadily for the last 63 years." And she’s not going anywhere, as long as offers keep rolling in: “If they want me to go away, if they get tired of me, just stop asking me because I keep saying, 'Yes.'” Click for more of White’s thoughts on the honor—and her fabulous year.
