David Arquette has checked into rehab for treatment of alcoholism and "other" issues, and his estranged wife supports the decision. Arquette made the move to the Betty Ford center because he believes it's "the right thing to do for his family," a source tells TMZ. "He's in there for drinking and depression, not hard drugs," says a representative. The news comes two months after his split with wife Courteney Cox and increasingly erratic behavior. "When I drink, I become a maniac," he told Howard Stern last month.

"I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life," Cox tells People. "I love and support him." Click for more on Arquette's rehab stint and Cox's reaction.
