Hubby Dumps Nigella Lawson —Via Tabloid Announcement

Most guys photographed in a public fight with their wife—in which he was grabbing her neck—might issue an apology or get some counseling. Not Charles Saatchi, who is instead filing for divorce from Nigella Lawson, because he's "disappointed" that she didn't stand up for her man. The kicker? He announced the pending divorce to the world and Lawson via a statement made to the Daily Mail, in which he professes that the split "is heartbreaking for both of us as our love was very deep."

Saatchi was issued a police caution in the incident, but he says, "The row photographed at Scott’s restaurant could equally have been Nigella grasping my neck to hold my attention—as indeed she has done in the past." And per the Daily Mail, "Lawson is not aware of the divorce ultimatum being issued by her husband and will be devastated by his claim that she is somehow to blame for failing to speak out in his defence. "
