Because nothing will show those Russians who's boss like allowing them to win more medals by taking some of the most successful Olympic competitors out of the running, Sen. Lindsey Graham is proposing the US boycott Russia's 2014 Winter Olympics if the country agrees to give Edward Snowden asylum. "At the end of the day, if they grant this guy asylum it’s a breach of the rule of law as we know it and is a slap in the face to the United States," says Graham, per the Hill.

John McCain says he'd like to see the US respond with tightened human rights sanctions, but wasn't so convinced of Graham's idea. "I think the experience of canceling the Olympics the last time around wasn’t very good," he says. (In other Snowden-related news, the NSA leaker now says he's torture-proof.)
