Steven Seagal Eyes Run for Ariz. Governor

Says he's discussed it with Sheriff Joe

He wouldn't be the first actor to trade the silver screen for the governor's mansion: Steven Seagal is making noises to KNXV-TV about running for Jan Brewer's job in Arizona. In conversations with BFF Joe Arpaio, with whom he teamed for reality show Steven Seagal—Lawman: Maricopa County, he says they talked about it as "kind of a joke, but I suppose I would remotely consider it." The action star is decidedly not joking about border security, calling it the No. 1 problem facing the nation: "Reagan once said if you don't have security on your borders, you don't have a country."
