Simon Cowell Headed Back to Reality TV

You will soon get a chance to once again watch Simon Cowell snarkily judge ordinary people who want to be famous. Cowell is replacing Howard Stern as a judge on this summer's season of America's Got Talent, Entertainment Weekly reports. Cowell has previously acted as judge on American Idol and The X Factor, but hasn't been in a major US role since 2013. "Simon Cowell is one of the best judges of talent in the world," says a FremantleMedia exec in a statement. Adds the NBC Entertainment chairman, "Simon knows this format better than anyone and he’s been producing the show with us since the beginning, so we’re thrilled to have him to step in front of the camera and take his rightful place at the head of the judges’ panel."
