Netflix on Tuesday confirmed that Danny Masterson's last day on The Ranch was Monday. "Netflix and the producers have written" him out of the show "and production will resume in early 2018 without him," says a rep, per Variety. The exit comes some 13 years after the first allegation of rape was made about the actor, reports Deadline. A woman filed a police report to that end in 2004 related to a 2003 incident, but the case went nowhere. In March, the LAPD disclosed that it began looking into Masterson in late 2016 after three more women accused him of raping them in the early 2000s. The case was referred to the DA the next month; no charges have been filed. The news comes a day after the HuffPost reported that a woman it's calling "Victim B" approached Andy Yeatman, Netflix's director of global kids content, at a kids' soccer game in LA.

Each has a daughter, and their teams were playing each other. The woman reportedly asked Yeatman why Neflix wasn't moving against Masterson as a result of the allegations. Yeatman replied "we don't believe [the women]." The woman then identified herself as one of the accusers. In a statement, Netflix called Yeatman's comments "careless" and "uninformed," while noting he "would have no insights into decision making on The Ranch." As for the decision that's now been made, Masterson had this to say in a statement picked up by the HuffPost: "I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix's decision ... From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me. ... In the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused. I understand and look forward to clearing my name once and for all." (More Danny Masterson stories.)
